HOW IT ALL WORKS…
Competition taco and Sidecart Throwdown food samples are $2 each. Size of the sample is at the discretion of the team. Expect smaller, street tacos or portions of larger tacos. Each sample will include 1-2 ounces of protein and other ingredients. Vendors will be on hand to sell other food as well.
The Second Arizona Taco Festival at the Scottsdale Waterfront on October 15th, 2011, is the follow up to last year's wildly successful inaugural launch. Over 30 teams will compete for $7,500 cash and taco bragging rights. Other contests: best guacamole, salsa, and anything goes taco. There will be plenty of tequila, margaritas, cold cervezas to go around. And bring the kids, because everybody loves tacos!
