Roca Patron 2016 TEQUILA EXPO—SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15

Roca Patron is a complex artisanal tequila, produced entirely from the centuries old tahona stone process. One the very few Haciendas in Mexico to still use this old-world process, each 2 ton tahona wheel is hand crafted, taking over one month to create, and then used to roll over the cooked agave to release the juices needed for fermentation.

After distillation, Roca Patron Silver is ready from bottling. Roca Patron Reposado and Roca Patron Anejo are sent to the aging room where they rest in used American bourbon barrels-Reposado for five months and Anejo for fourteen months.

Each Roca Patron Tequila is formulated at a specific proof to optimize the complex taste experience – Roca Silver is 90 proof, Reposado is 84 proof, and Anejo is 88 proof. The Roca Patron tequilas are enjoyable neat, on the rocks, and are also ideal for making distinctive and tastefully original cocktails.
