HERRADURA BARREL ART CONTEST:
In 2014, Tequila Herradura and organizers of the AZ Taco Festival selected six artists to partake in the inaugural Arizona Barrel Art Competition. Each artist painted a Herradura Tequila barrel head in the hopes of winning $1,000. Partners included The Mission, Gallo Blanco, Taco Guild, Cien Agaves, Distrito, and El Hefe Tempe. Fans voted for their favorite by clicking "Like" on Facebook. Artist Gennaro Garcia won the contest. Participating artists were:
